HepreviouslyreceivedmedicaltrainingattheSecondMilitaryMedicalUniversityinShanghai,ChinaandPhDtrainingatCaseWesternReserveUniversityinCleveland,Ohio,USA.HereceivedmedicalresidencytrainingatGreaterBaltimoreMedicalCenterandclinicalendocrinologyfellowshiptrainingatJohnsHopkinsHospitalinBaltimore,Maryland,USA.Americanboard-certifiedinInternalMedicineandEndocrinologyMetabolism,Dr.XinghasbeenworkingatJohnsHopkinsHospitalasanendocrinesubspecialtyconsultantandteachingattendingwhiledirectingathyroidresearchprogramasaphysicianscientistthere.Hismainclinicalandresearchinterestsareinthyroiddiseases,particularlythyroidtumor.SupportedbytheAmericanCancerSocietyandNIHR0-1grants,hislaboratoryhasbeenstudyingmolecular,genetic,andepigeneticmechanismsofthyroidcancerandtheirclinicaltranslation.
